Students generally fund their medical education through a combination of family resources, student loans, grants and scholarships. Each year approximately 85% of Hope Medical Institute’s students receive some sort of financial assistance and many use student loans to entirely fund their costs of education. All of our affiliated institutions are approved by both the U.S. Federal Direct Loan Program and the Canadian Student Loan Program. In addition, private lenders in both the United States and Canada offer private education loans to our students and their families. Each of our schools also participates in the U.S. Veteran Administration Benefit Programs (http://www.gibill.va.gov).
Students receive application support from the financial aid staff on each campus who are well versed in the financial aid eligibility and processing requirements. In addition, an experienced U.S. based financial aid counselor is available to help HMI students understand their financial aid options and work through the application process. A description of each school’s financial aid programs is found on their websites at the links below.
